Placental Atlas Tool

Researchers interested in the placenta are invited to explore the NICHD’s recently launched Placental Atlas Tool or PAT - https://pat.nichd.nih.gov. The PAT is a free resource incorporating placental data from publications and public databases into a single website for the research community, and is a reference tool for studying placental development and function throughout pregnancy.
The NCS Archive is excited to be one of many placental resources connected to the PAT, and the Archive encourages users to explore the PAT in addition to the NCS Archive. Archive users are invited to continue exploring available NCS placental data and samples (DNA, RNA, Membrane, and slides/tissue blocks) and look for new research collaborations made possible by the PAT.
If a researcher is interested in pursuing NCS Placental investigations further both data and samples are available to approved researchers.
